I know! I know!! I went MIA for.....3 months....BUT I am back. ;)
So I realize that my initial plan for my blog was to "try" and blog at least once a week. As you can all see that kinda went down the drain. I think about blogging all the time. I just feel like I never have time to actually sit down and do it. These days I don't have a lot of time for anything. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my life. Seriously wouldn't change it for the world, but working a full time job, being a military wife and being the Mommy to the two most precious little girls is....let's just say pretty challenging.
I love the fact that Justin is in the Navy. It makes me proud. He takes his job very seriously. He puts in super long hours. Long hours away from the girls and I and long hours away from his close friends. So when Justin had the opportunity to go to the lake for a guys weekend I was pretty excited for him. They all had a great time catching up with each other and I know Justin really needed that time with his friends. He got home Sunday around noon. Just in time to spend some time with his girls and then go to work that night. So like I said it is hard being military wife. I knew it would be hard going into our relationship. For the most part I have gotten use to how the military works and I try my hardest to be super supportive. I feel like in order for anyone to be successful in the military they have to have a great support system at home. With all that being said Justin's job is demanding and when they demand his time that's when I have to be supportive and take over. I came across this quote the other day and thought it pretty much said it all.
"There is no other woman in the world like the Navy wife. She is indeed unique! She is indeed rare!" - UnknownOur weekdays are beyond crazy!! Get up in the morning get myself ready for work, take care of our 3 furry kids, get the diaper bag together, get Miss B ready, wake up Lil B get her ready and then FINALLY get out the door. Get both girls loaded up in the car (by this time I am already sweating). I sit down in the drivers set and take a HUGE deep breath. That right there wears me out. Drive Miss B to school unload both of the girls drop Miss B off load Lil B back into the car drive about a mile down the road unload Lil B again (did I mention she was 19 lbs) drop her off at daycare get back into my car.....take another HUGE deep breath and start my journey into work. Then in the afternoon pick up Lil B pick up Miss B go home cook dinner, 2 baths, clean up dinner, put the girls down for the night look at the clock and it's already 8:45 - 9pm. Remember I was already tired the second I sat down in my car before I even pulled out of my driveway that morning. To even think about doing anything else besides sitting down and watching a little T.V. just isn't going to happen. I am sure our weekdays will eventually slow down but I think for now it is peddle to the melt fast pace. Thank goodness I have a very low stress job or I think I would be checking my myself into a crazy house. :)
Hopefully I don't sound like I am gripping.....cause I am really not trying too. Like I said before I seriously wouldn't change my life for anything. It's my life and I love it!! So between my three full time jobs, now I am sure you can understand why I have been neglecting my blog. :)
I will leave you with a couple of pictures to make you smile. :)
